Connect Adobe Commerce / Magento

Create a Magento integration, paste its four values, read the capabilities table and install the optional connector module.

Arasta reads your orders, shipments, invoices, customers, products and CMS pages through Magento's REST API. It never changes your store unless you switch on order actions.

Create the integration in Magento

  1. In the Magento admin open System → Extensions → Integrations → Add New Integration. Name it "Arasta".
  2. On the API tab grant access to Sales, Customers, Catalog, Content and Stores. Save.
  3. Click Activate, then Allow. Magento shows four values: Consumer key, Consumer secret, Access token and Access token secret.

Paste the values in Arasta

  1. Open Stores, click Open next to your store. The Overview tab shows Adobe Commerce / Magento connection.
  2. Choose OAuth 1.0a (recommended). ("Access token as bearer" works only if bearer tokens are enabled in Magento.)
  3. Paste the four values and click Save and test connection. The values are stored encrypted.

Later you can use Replace credentials (new integration) and Run connection test on the same page. Only Owners and Admins can change the connection.

The capabilities table

After the test, Arasta lists what works with your store. Each line is Supported, Not available or Error:

CapabilityWhat Kalfa AI can do with it
OrdersOrder status, items, totals, delivery city
ShipmentsCarrier and tracking number
InvoicesInvoice details
Invoice PDFsSend the customer a link to the invoice PDF (needs the connector module)
CustomersRecognise the customer's account
Product searchAnswer product questions and recommend products
CMS pagesUse your store pages as knowledge
Store viewsLanguages and markets
Returns (RMA)Create returns (Adobe Commerce, with order actions)
Return portalSend the customer to your store's return page

The header line shows your Magento version and whether the connector module is installed.

If the test fails: check that the integration is activated, that the API resources above are granted, and that the store URL starts with https.

Languages and store views

On the Overview tab:

  • Default language — the language the widget and Kalfa AI use when a visitor's language is not one of your store views.
  • Store views — tick the store views Kalfa AI serves and set each one's language. Optional Hosts (comma-separated) and Path prefix (starting with /) tell the widget which store view a page belongs to.

The widget picks a visitor's language from the page (data-locale or <html lang>), then the store view matched by host or path, then the browser language, then the default.

Optional connector module

The Arasta connector module (Platform_Connector, Magento 2.4.7+, PHP 8.2–8.4) adds:

  • invoice PDF links,
  • signed customer identity — logged-in customers are recognised in the chat and do not need a verification code,
  • linking the customer's cart to the conversation (shown to your team in the Inbox).

Install it with composer (composer require platform/module-connector), enable the module, tick Platform connector API in the integration's API tab and click Reauthorize. The signing secret comes from Store → Widget → Signed customer identity → Create signing secret (shown once).

Note: add the widget with the snippet from the Widget tab. Do not use the module's own widget settings (loader URL / store key).
